A note about Canada Select : this year we have withdrawn from Canada Select. To maintain the 4 stars we have previously earned, we would need to add televisions, cable or satellite receivers, and dedicated telephone lines to all of our guestrooms. The overwhelming majority of our guests do not desire these amenities when they stay in a B&B, and we feel that for the comfort of all guests and to maintain the historical integrity of our home, we are unwilling to make these changes.We have a room deticated for T.V. watching and our guests are always welcome to use our phone.We also have internet connections in all of our rooms.

Stay and sleep within the sight and sound of the Atlantic Ocean, Porters Lake, and the TransCanada trail. Lots of outdoor fun! Enjoy a leisurely paddle in our canoe, and Kayaks. Or use our bicycles for a ride on the many trails. We also have lots of games such as croquet, bachi ball, and horse shoes. Or you can just sit back on the porch and enjoy the ocean breeze. Our friendly toddler and dog and are eager to welcome you!

Our home is a renovated turn of the century farmhouse, decorated with period furnishings. Our spacious home offers 2 living rooms (one with a fireplace, and one with a wood stove), a TV room with video and DVD player available, a dining room and reading room all for you to enjoy.

As you watch the sun rise over Porters Lake, you can enjoy your breakfast. We offer a full breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 (of course we are flexible). I make all of our bread, jams, waffles (our speciality, I am a native Belgian), quiche, scones, you name it. I try and make something different every day, and I can always accommodate you should you have any allergies or requests.
